Nice memories matey.. Being a big boxing fan, I always used to make a bee line for the boxing games in the arcades; particularly Final Blow and Punch Out. The arcade Punch Out with the two handles was brilliant !!! Can't seem to find any details on it though… anyone?
Great games! Final Blow and The Final Round are two of my favourite arcade games of all time! Heavyweight Champ was also good, unique cabinet for it! I'm more familiar with Super Punch Out on the SNES more than Punch Out but still a great game.
Heres a question. How come when game companies release old school arcade games on playable discs for todays consoles the games have to always be old as dirt (Dig Dug,Pac-Man,Marble Madness etc..).Why cant we get some old school games like these released for us to play??
Hmm I'm not sure. You could do a search on google for them. "virtual console wii" returns all the titles released on the Wii virtual console in the NA. And here's a link to the PSStore: bit(DOT)ly/18tMA4d And ofc you could always use MAME and play all of these games on your PC.
When I was a kid back in the 80's… my friend and I used to play this game (Heavyweight Champions) by grabbing one puncher handle each and go to town on them as aggressively as possible. Finished the entire game on 3 credits. 10/10 would visit the 80's again.

02.07.2022I can't for my life get "The Final Round" to run in MAME, even using the suggested versions for it.
