30.11.2022Check out the Bushido Blade games for the PS1. It will give you a general idea of what Die by the Blade will be like. I used to play Bushido Blade with my family religiously and had tons of fun with it. Sometimes one, or even a well timed strike can hinder and mostly incapacitate your opponent. Definitely keeping a close eye for that game.

But I made it first. Even before Smash
And this game was literally conceived by me at age 12 in 1998 even before the first Smash Bros – not these characters, but just characters from all media, be them cartoons or video game characters or superheroes all in a fighting game. That's why the first Smash was so intriguing to me as a kid, esp since I was into Nintendo games. But Multiverses is way closer to the kind of wacky lawlessness of character choices. Like super saiyan shaggy is a kind of character I'd have in my imagined game. I'd have Yoshi, Rocko from Rocko's modern life, the Pillsbury Doughboy, Tony the Tiger, etc conceived in a fighting game.
So yeah, I made this game first
