19.12.2022As someone who boxes, I felt this game had very intuitive controls. I was easily able to outbox my opponents even as Wilder. I think you just have to get used to the controls because that was my problem at first. The lag definitely needs to be fixed too but I’m so hyped for this game

18.12.2022Smoothness and impact of blocked punches are my main concerns. When my punch is blocked by an opponent's gloves, there should still be some sort of reaction or feeling of contact between my punch and my opponent's block. However, because the game lacks that, I can't tell if my punch completely missed or if it was actually blocked.

18.12.2022So… I agree with some of the things you said… the Jab comment though… unlike fight night I realized that lateral movement was key… basically align your fighter laterally and you always hit the Jab. Worked like a charm when I figured it out. I'm ready for early access though but release date should take its time.

One thing that wasn't mentioned is how bad stepping animations look. It's one of the most hated things in FNC and yet they look almost the same. Sliding instead of stepping makes me not wanna use it.
In the last Beta there was a female fighter who actually had a proper stepping animation. They can just put that one, on all fighters and i'd be happy. Looking clean is important to me.
I had such a blast with the beta regardless of the flaws and I ran into Martial Mind, Rackz (Dev) , and Showbizz The Adult! Great experience.

I stay playing fight night champion on Xbox I’m so. they got a lot of good things going for it but if they can take some notes from ufc 2 and fnc get the movement and punches smoother and like you mentioned have more impact and. Slight bit more exaggeration on haymakers it’ll definitely look better but I need my hands on it to get a real feel for what I’m seeing
